5 Days Tsavo East, Tsavo West & Amboseli National Parks Tour

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Tsavo East: (340km-Appr 5 hrs)

Meal plan: Breakfast,lunch,dinner

6.00AM:Pick up from your Nairobi hotel/Nairobi airport or Nairobi residence in the early morning.

Proceed along the Nairobi -Mombasa highway with pitstops Enter the Tsavo and commence game viewing drives. The Game viewing drive takes us on the trails of the big five with magnificent views of the African sunset before returning to our lodging.

Overnight at Sentrim Tsavo.

Day 2: Tsavo East – Tsavo West

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

We shall be ready before sunrise in our anticipation of the morning game drive! All ingredients for a wonderful day are in place. …the splendor of an African sunrise dominates the natural world as we traverse the vast park in search of the early grazers and predators. A final game viewing drive at the Tsavo east shall follow as we leave the park. We shall proceed to the Tsavo West where we continue on game viewing drives. This afternoon we visit the Rhino Sanctuary where the endangered species are protected

Overnight at Ngulia Safari lodge.

Day 3: Tsavo West – Amboseli: 100kms Appr 2 hrs:

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

The early bird catches the worm!. we embark on an early morning game and scenery viewing drive. Sunrise catches us as we explore the Tsavo West national park. The natural world unfolds amid the freshness and beauty of the morning. We drink in the scenic beauty of this awesome park . We head to Mzima Springs to view hippos, crocodiles, exotic fish and a variety of bird species. The greenery surrounding the underground springs is a welcome contrast to the dry terrain that form Tsavo West national park.

Later proceed to Amboseli national park to arrive during late morning Relax until late afternoon when we set out to explore the Amboseli national park in a game viewing drive. This is a leisurely game viewing drive with animals easily seen and with the bulk of mount. Kilimanjaro providing an awesome back-drop for wildlife photography. Clouds may open up and the sight of snow peaked mount Kilimanjaro shall mesmerize.

Overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.

Day 4: Amboseli National Park

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch.

This will be a full day of game viewing drives. Plenty of time to soak up the wildlife and the magnificent scenery. And we’ve allowed time for relaxation as well. There will be an early morning game drive. Then breakfast will be followed by a mid-morning drive. After a comfortable lunch we’ll set out on a later afternoon game drive. Between the wildlife viewing sessions, relax at your Amboseli lodge or camp. They will provide meals and other activities.As always, your safari vehicle and driver/ guide are at your disposal for even more game viewing drives.

Overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.

Day 5 : Amboseli – Nairobi: 250kms: Appx: 3.5-4 hrs

We shall be early again! Early morning game viewing drive. Sunrise and emergence of the mount Kilimanjaro peak from the clouds is dramatic “weather permitting”. Marvel at the sights as we enjoy our breakfast. Extra mid-morning game viewing drive. Depart the Amboseli and proceed to Nairobi.

Arrive Nairobi at appr.4.30PM. Drop off at Nairobi airport / Nairobi hotel.
